Find your STANDARD size Mason Jar Lids for Mason, Mayo, Honey, Jam, Jelly, and all sorts of candle jars. If the description says a lid "Fits our standard Mason, Mayo and Jelly jars (with 70G450 threads)" then it will fit other brands of STANDARD size jars made by Ball, Kerr, Atlas and others with 2 3/4" diameter threads. Wide Mouth jars typically have threads 3 3/8" diameter. We recommend you purchase a small quantity to test fitment before ordering in bulk.

STANDARD (Primitive) Mason Lid - BLACK

Primitive Looking Standard Mason Jar Lid - BLACK
This heavy decorative unlined lid fits our 8 oz Mason and our 12 or 16 oz Mayo Jars as well as Ball, Kerr, Atlas and other Brands with Standard 70G450 2 3/4" diameter threads (AKA Small Mouth) for that primitive/rustic old look. While the manufacturer states it is food safe, it's intended use is as a decorative candle jar lid only. Not for canning as there is no seal. The primitive nature of these lids means the finish can be smooth or a little rough and the threads are loose and can pop off when over tightened. The black finish can vary in sheen from lid to lid and batch to batch even a mix within the same order. Many of these lids are not painted inside! The photo may not be completely representative of the lids you will receive. Remember “Primitive”! Our stock has transitioned from the matte black to a satin/gloss finish.

OUR NEW BLACK LID IS FROM A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER. IT'S VERY SIMILAR BUT NOT THE SAME EXACT LID AS THE OLD ONE. MANY LIDS ARE NOT PAINTED ON THE INSIDE! SAMPLING IS RECOMMENDED.
